Pilotage operations will be carried out in Shahid Beheshti port according to the following conditions.
wind speed limitation imposed for container ships at time of berthing operation to 18 knots and time departure to 20 knots
The maximum acceptable draft 15 meters
Draft between 14.5 and 15 meters can be done by prior announcement and coordination with agency companies.
Berthing and unberthing of vessels with a length of more than 240 meters in daylight
For incoming vessels with a length of less than 240 meters, as well as all outgoing operations (regardless of the length of the ships), the day and night restriction will not be relevant.
Performing entry or exit operations for vessels with a draft of more than 14 meters during high tide and complying with other PMO conditions
For vessels with a draft of less than 14 meters, with at least 2 meters UKC and also meeting other conditions, the operation must be performed as soon as possible.

Berthing: at night prohibited at the earliest opportunity with at least 2 meters UKC
Un-Bathing: day and night no restriction at the earliest opportunity with at least 2 meters UKC

More than 13.5 m draft: berthing and un-berthing at night prohibited
Less then 13.5 m draft: day and night no restriction at the earliest opportunity subject to other conditions at the earliest possible time
Shahid Beheshti Port is a major port located in the city of Chabahar in southeastern Iran. It is a strategic port for Iran and serves as a key transit point for trade between India, Iran, and Afghanistan. The port has undergone significant development in recent years, with new terminals and infrastructure being added to increase its capacity and efficiency.
Having two important commercial ports, Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari, in the eastern shore of Chabahar Gulf located in the province of Sistan and Balochistan beside the warm water of the Oman Sea and the Indian Ocean, and being adjacent to two countries of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and having access to the international waters, and CIS countries, and also being adjacent to Free Trade-Industrial Zone, Chabahar port performs the role. The executive operations of each port of Shahid Beheshti and Shahid kalantari embarked on 1983 and by completion of 4 berths became operational. Chabahar ports has an area of 11 km2 and it’s average annual maximum temperature is 34˚C and its average minimum temperature is 10˚C. Chabahar ports has been considered as the forehead of the eastern development route and the gate of the international North-South Corridor.
